    Tag

    A label attached to a subscriber that describes their behavior, interests, or attributes.

    Tags let you slice your list dynamically without forcing subscribers into rigid lists. A single subscriber can carry many tags: "customer", "interested-in-pricing", "downloaded-lead-magnet-3", "from-instagram". Kit (ConvertKit), ActiveCampaign, and Customer.io are tag-first platforms; Mailchimp and Constant Contact are list-first.
